Overview


Territory War is a competition between the Holy Empire and Religious Alliance by fighting other players and monsters. These wars take place across the regions of Hollna, Hershal, and Kharon. The goal is to get more points than your enemy nation to win.

Joining a Territory War


To jump in on the action simply teleport to any zone in these regions!

Regions


Hollna Region includes Hollna and all of Siros Castle
Hershal Region includes Hershal, Underwater Cave, and Hershal Cave
Kharon Region includes Kharon Plateau, Sloth Gorge, Mountian Behemoth Lair, and Peak of Gardion

Schedule


Times for Territory Wars will alternate week to week.

War Mechanics


To achieve victory, you must have more points than your enemy nation at the end of the war. Territory Wars last for one hour. During the Territory War special conditions will be in effect for the active region:

  • Teleporting will be disabled during PvP. You may teleport only if you have been out of PvP combat for at least 10 seconds.
  • All monsters in the region will give a bonus 20% experience 
  • Monsters will give experience to players up to 80 levels higher than the monster. Additionally, there is a cap of 10% of a monster's experience if the player is within the level range of the target monster.

 

Gaining Points

  • Killing monsters in the active region will award 10% of the monster's level to your points
    • Example: A level 100 monster will give 10 points

 

  • Stealing points by killing enemy nation players. Players slain will give up 10% of their personal points
    • The scoreboard consists of all players personal score for their nation.  If the scoreboard shows Alliance and Empire tied with 10,000 points and a player kill occurs the following will happen:
      • Alliance Player with 500 points kills an Empire Player who has 1,000 points. The Alliance Player will have a score of 600 now while the Empire Player will go down to 900.
      • The scoreboard will update to Alliance with 10,100 points while the Empire will be 9,900 points.

 

Losing Points

  • Being killed by a monster will permanently remove 10% of your person score.
  • Being slain by enemy player will remove 10% of your personal score and given to the enemy player.

Rewards


Winning Nation

  • Experience increased by 5% in the controlled region until the next Territory War for this region starts.
  • The enemy nation will pay a 20% tax on all daric and segel earned while in a controlled region. This money goes into a money pool that will be divided and sent to the participants who won control in a region from the previous war.
  • 10 War Points

Losing Nation

  • 3 War Points
