- Fallen Archer and [ELITE] Fallen Archer stopping aggro. These monsters have been removed to prevent abuse.
- Frontline Dog Tag quests are not able to be completed.
- Post Update: Website Changes. Some information is not displaying correctly.
- Notes
- Howling Castle was designed as a puzzle-based map with random teleports for players to band together to progressively move up in difficulty. This was removed to be linear. It has not translated out for an enjoyable experience in the new form.
- Candies will not stack when acquired. They will stack if you drag them on top of each other. Releasing stacked items hasn't been used in the system and this was a limitation not expected. This will be resolved for future updates.
- All candies and Imbued Warped armor will be removed after Halloween Event.
- Taking input on the skill changes. Please continue making feedback.
Double Experience Weekend
November 13th, 2026 to November 15th, 2026 will be a double experience weekend for regular monsters.
Triple Luck Weekend
November 20th, 2026 to November 22nd,2026 will be a triple luck weekend. This will only affect luck (Prefix chances) and not the amount of items dropped.
Hunter Titles
Monster Hunting Titles will be launching soon. Allowed areas to hunt will be Hollna, Hershal, and Kharon. Each area will have 10 titles to claim if you feel you are up for the challenge.
The first 7 titles will be able to be hunted in a group or solo.
The final 3 titles will be more prestigious in name, appearance, and stats however these will be solo challenges only.
Challenge Dungeons
These dungeons will launch as a solo instance for players to loot new items. The original idea was focused on prefixes. Increased chances of higher prefixes, Break Limit prefixes, and unique prefixes. Work has been paused briefly as we look at an item expansion and if it would be a good fit for challenge dungeons or keeping them to Trials only.
Hycean
Excited to share more. Hycean will be more in line as the next expansion to the game when comparing it to Frontlines. Gardion and Frontlines at its core added a surface level experience which content worked through quickly. The central idea of Hycean is exploration and will be the largest area in the game. There is not a comparison to it even when looking at the Sacred Lands or Kharon. Final polish for the map is underway. By polish we mean the appearance of the map. If you look at The Advent it is a flat map, terrain blending is minimal, and objects were used in a simplistic nature. Hycean will offer improvements to all of this. Once polish is done, we enter the final stretch of placing all the monsters and systems onto the map. Look for an update soon as information will start to become available very soon.
Tool Upgrades
Since the launch of The Advent it has been largely quiet. The reason was a combination to restore services, manual fixes for the bosses in The Advent, and a large upgrade to our existing tools. During this time staff has worked through two major tools. Map Editor Version 2 and the Asset Studio.
For the map editor, workflows have improved dramatically. To give a comparison, The Advent was a smaller and simplistic map and creating the terrain alone took about 4 days. Hycean terrain was under work for nearly a month. After the upgrade Hycean was created for terrain, objects, blending, collisions, and more in about an hour. This doesn't mean the map is ready for full use immediately but getting it created and up for testing has substantially improved.
For the Asset Studio, this is rather new. This has become an all-in-one tool for the existing tools created. While it may not be widely known, the tools supplied originally were not in a good state. At launch players may have seen a post about Salis having particle effects or the Ares Experts having ground effects. The original tools were splintered in many ways and without full documentation led to more time spent than necessary. So what does this mean? We are in the stages of testing custom models, rigging animation, and more.
There are many more tools and projects we are working on and there has been an extreme focus on these. For an extra piece of information we can look at Events. A poll was created about extending the Anniversary event. Despite the service outages, there was not a way to extend the event without a restart of the server. Now we can extend events without a restart.
